
This $2,511,823 resurfacing project for the TxDOT involves milling and paving a 2.25-mile stretch of US-281 in Jack County, Texas. Sunmount Paving teams are responsible for milling 95,000 SY of material to depths of 2 to 3 inches, as well as performing flexible pavement repairs which were increase by the TxDOT from 2,000 SY to 30,000 SY of material. The final scope of operations will include paving 18,500 tons of surface SAC-A PG 70-28 material, and performing all pavement markings. The project is estimated to be completed by December 2019.
